The Bachelor Australia, 2017 lovers Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne have only been together for a few months but the couple are already having to weather engagement rumours thanks to a suggestive social media pic.
The post in question came via jewellery designer Laura’s Instagram page on Monday, which shows the happy couple all dolled up as MJ plants a wet one on his dazzling lady in red.
Accompanying the cute pic was a rather confusing caption which had fans scratching their heads.
“Ready for a wedding @matthewdavidjohnson,” Laura penned.
Cue panicked Bachie enthusiasts collectively losing their minds.
“Are u getting married??” one person queried.
Another simply added: “WHAT?!”
“Got excited for a sec, thought caption was a low key engagement announcement,” @naz.atmeh pointed out.
“You two just let me know when it’s your turn,” one well-wisher teased.
After reading the comments Laura jumped in to set the record straight, revealing there was no Bachelor bride walking down the aisle just yet (besides, we know she’d never wear red on her big day!)

Did Matty put on a ring on it for reals? Not so fast!
“@sydneydrums haha not our wedding, a friends! X,” the Sydney stunner explained to a curious fan.
Although they did just get back from a romantic holiday in Bali, the reality TV duo insist they want to take their romance at a steady speed.
“More than anything I’m excited to have her included in my life. I can’t wait to do things like go to the beach, go to the park, take Buster for a walk,” Matty told us
“We’re thinking to do some holidays and planning things for this year but just the normal stuff that we haven’t been able to do together,” Laura agreed.
