Australian actress Melissa George, 47, is well-known for her work on Home and Away, among countless other Hollywood movies and TV shows.
The Golden Globe nominee has now revealed that she has welcomed her third child – another son! She confirmed the exciting news via Instagram.
Friends, family and followers were quick to share their congratulations and well wishes to the now-mother of three.
Melissa has not yet revealed the name of her baby, and only confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month.
After sharing some photos and videos of her Christmas break, fans were quick to spot an easily identifiable baby bump in some of her snaps.
In the photo uploaded to her Instagram story, Melissa can be seen cuddling up with her youngest child, wearing an oversized knit jumper which is covering her pregnant belly.
Melissa has two children, Raphaël (nine) and Solal (seven) with her ex-partner Jean-David Blanc.
Another photo the actress uploaded to her Instagram story was of herself looking out the window of a cosy-looking house.
The photo features Melissa wearing a sheer white dress that hugs a not-so-small baby bump.
Melissa first publicly confirmed her pregnancy on social media in March 2024, posting about her baby shower.
Melissa is a notoriously private person and has not yet shared details of her current partner or relationship, if she is in one.
Whilst she was born and raised in Australia and later moved to America to further her acting career, Melissa currently lives in France due to a custody agreement with her ex.
“I’m really proud of my Australian roots and I will continue to come home often to see my family and to work here,” Melissa said of her home country.
Melissa’s most well known roles are Angel Parrish on Home and Away, Alex Panttiere on Heartbeat, and Laura Hill on In Treatment, and most recently she appeared as Margot Fox on The Mosquito Coast.
Melissa was nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role in In Treatment in 2009.
