EXCLUSIVE: Samantha Jade reveals the beautiful way she’s planning to honour her late mother on her wedding day

After the COVID-19 pandemic put singer Samantha Jade’s wedding plans on hold, the 33-year-old is finally confident enough to start organising her big day to fiancé Pat Handlin again.

And for the 33-year-old, there is one element to her wedding day that’s of utmost importance – paying tribute to her late mother Jacqueline Gibbs, who tragically passed away in 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

In an exclusive interview with Now To Love the ARIA Award-winning artist tells us she’s hoping to incorporate a piece of her mother’s wedding dress into her own bridal gown.

“I actually asked my dad the other day if he has her wedding dress, I thought that could be something special,” the Perth-born star tells us.

“I definitely want to pay tribute to my mum in some way… I think that will be important,” she adds.

Despite having to postpone her wedding twice last year in the midst of the pandemic, the X Factor Australia winner says she and Pat are excited to get the ball rolling again.

“We just actually sat down the other day and said ‘let’s start planning again!’ It felt like we’d start and then something would ruin it again,” the singer, whose immediate family is based in Perth, explains.

Gone but never forgotten: As Samantha Jade prepares to marry Pat Handlin, the star is making sure her late mother (R) will be close to her heart on her big day.

Now as the state boarders are reopened, Samantha is looking forward to celebrating in style with a Sydney-based affair and perhaps another event in her hometown of Perth later this year.

“The wedding location may be somewhere around Sydney. But I obviously have to have everyone [fly in] from Perth,” she tells us.

“We’re trying to figure out what that looks like because a lot of people are still nervous to fly so we’re trying to figure out if we do something really small and then have a party in Perth.”

While Sam and Pat, who became engaged at the start of 2019, iron out the specifics, there’s one thing the singer has sorted – her wedding dress!

“That is the only thing that I have planned,” she laughs. “And that’s the most important thing.”

The Bounce hitmaker reveals her wedding dress may shock some people with the star opting for a more pared-back look compared to her usual glitzy aesthetic.

“I can’t say much but I will say that it’s classic. I think people expect me not to go classic and go a little costume-y because I’m a performer but it’s the opposite of that,” she teases.

When it came to picking her wedding dress, Samantha Jade only had one person in mind to help guide her.

“Jules [Sebastian] was the person who when I got engaged, she was like ‘OK, what are you wearing?’ That was the first thing she wanted to talk about!”

“She’s the one who set up the meeting with the designer and has helped me,” she explains of her good friend and celebrity stylist.

That’s what besties are for! Celeb stylist and Sam’s good friend Jules Sebastian has played a major role in helping her pick a wedding dress.

Now their friendship is facing its greatest ever test – Jessica’s racism scandal

Jessica became embroiled in a racial scandal with black Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter.

In June, Sasha posted a generic message on Instagram, calling on other high profile influencers to use their platforms to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

While Sasha’s post didn’t name Jessica specifically, Jess took the message as a personal slight. She then sent a series of private texts and emails to Sasha, which ultimately resulted in Jess reportedly threatening to sue her.

Sasha outed Jessica in an extended Instagram video, later leading to several apologies from Jess. She even referenced Meghan in her apology, explaining she had some understanding of racism due to Meghan’s own experiences.

“I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and centre. It was deeply educational,”Jessica wrote in the comments.

However, the controversy led to Jessica losing her coveted role as a Good Morning America contributor, her show I Do, Redo was axed and she took an extended break from social media.

Meghan is yet to publicly comment on the controversy, though a royal source told the Daily Mail she was reportedly “mortified” by the ordeal.

The wedding industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus, with thousands of couples forced to postpone their celebrations.

But even though you may not be able to have the big fairytale wedding of your dreams (for the coming months at least), that doesn’t mean you can’t make it official.

Current guidelines dictate that weddings can go ahead in Australia, but only five people can attend – the marrying couple, the celebrant and two witnesses. Everyone also needs to adhere to the four-square-metre rule and social distancing practices.

Before social distancing became enforced, weddings were a hotspot for the virus to spread, with one held in South Sydney resulting in 37 people contracting COVID-19.

Special hidden detail in Princess Beatrice’s personalised pre-wedding outfit revealed

Princess Beatrice stunned royal fans with her beautiful customised wedding look during her nuptials to husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi over the weekend.

And now a new detail about another special wedding clothing item the royal bride wore on her special day has emerged.

Beatrice was given a silk bridal robe to wear while she got ready to walk down the aisle.

It’s common for brides to wear a special white robe while getting their hair and makeup done – and the 31-year-old was gifted a robe by embroidery brand Hand & Lock, a Londo-based company that specialises in custom embroidery designs.

The brand posted a sneak peek at the robe on their official Instagram account, which featured the monogram, “Mrs MM”, referring to Edoardo’s last name, Mapelli Mozzi.

“Congratulations to the newly married Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. We are in awe of the Princess’ wedding dress and tiara which were leant to her by the Queen, and remodelled and fitted specifically for Beatrice. Mrs Mapelli Mozzi was gifted a silk robe, monogrammed by us, for her special day,” the brand wrote on its Instagram account, alongside the photo.

It’s unclear if Beatrice will indeed take Edoardo’s last name, or if she will retain her maiden name York.

A quick skim of the Hand & Lock Instagram account reveals the brand also created a special custom design for Princess Eugenie on her wedding day, too.

Earlier this week, they posted a photo of an embroidered biker jacket that Eugenie wore during her wedding celebrations to Jack Brooksbank in 2018.

“A detailed closed up section of the embroidered biker jacket Princess Eugenie wore for day 2 of her wedding back in 2018,” the brand wrote on Instagram.

“We worked with designer Samson Dougal and embroidered Mrs Brooksbank on the back panel with Swarovski vintage rose crystals and edged the text with pink bullion.⁠”

Beatrice married Edoardo, who is known as Edo, 37, in a low key ceremony attended by less than 20 guests on Friday, after the pair were forced to cancel their original wedding date set for May 29 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Buckingham Palace confirmed The Queen, Prince Philip, Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were all in attendance on the day.

Edo’s four-year-old son Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang, held the role as best man.

EXCLUSIVE: Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s secret second wedding!

Bindi Irwin spent more than a year planning her dream wedding to her “best friend” Chandler Powell at Australia Zoo, but despite their obvious happiness it was a bittersweet affair.

The Wildlife Warriors made the tough decision to marry without family and friends, apart from her mum Terri and brother Robert, rushing the wedding forward to March 25 as the coronavirus pandemic struck Australia.

“Despite the fact they made it as positive as they could, there is no denying their wedding wasn’t what they wanted it to be, especially compared to what they had planned,” a well-placed insider tells Woman’s Day, who reveals the pair are quietly planning a secret second wedding in the US.

According to the insider, Bindi, 21, and her husband, 23, intend to tie the knot again in a lavish ceremony – and they may never look back!

The lovebirds, who first met in 2013, are said to be heading to Oregon to re-do their big day.

The state holds a very special place in Bindi’s heart – it’s where her mother Terri, 55, was born and raised.

“They want do it later this year – she loves the snow-capped mountains around there,” tells the source.

The event will certainly be welcome news for Chandler’s US-based family, including his mum Shannan, dad Chris and brother Cameron, who have not seen him for months.

“Bindi wants her in-laws plus her famous friends to be there for the party she really wanted,” the source continues.

But it’s not just their wedding that the couple are planning. The teenage sweethearts are said to be eyeing off a home in the US, with Bindi pushing to relocate their life on Chandler’s home soil.

“It would be no surprise if they’re using their second wedding to test the waters of American TV and magazine deals over there,” says the insider.

“Bindi has always dreamed of living in the States and to build her own production company.”

The news will no doubt come as a shock to her mum and 16-year-old brother, who are currently based at their Sunshine Coast home in Australia Zoo.

However, our source insists Bindi thinks it’s the right move.

Last week, she shed some light on the emotional decision she faces, with a pointed post on Instagram.

“Why are you sitting like that,” reads a caption of a cartoon snake and raccoon.

“My heart just feels a little heavy today,” the raccoon tells the snake.

There’s no doubt he’d want to get back into that if he could, especially since Bindi’s already basically A-list in America and she stands to make a lot of money there as a TV personality,” the insider dishes.

Last week, Chandler took to Twitter to reflect on his surfing days, posting a snap of himself on the Oregon Coast and telling his fans he hopes they can celebrate International Surfing Day “wherever you are in the world”.

When he first met Bindi, Chandler was in the middle of a professional career in wakeboarding, which he first took up as a teenager.

He left his dreams behind when he moved Down Under to be with his new love, Bindi.

Most brides spend their wedding days sipping Champagne with their loved ones and trying to relax before one of the biggest moments of their lives – but not Miranda Kerr.

The Aussie supermodel has revealed she spent the hours leading up to her 2017 wedding to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in the kitchen, cooking.

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony at Spiegel’s California mansion, with an estimated 40 guests in attendance, consisting of mainly family and close friends.

The 37-year-old founder of beauty brand Kora Organics revealed she cooked her husband a roast chicken on their special day, because she wanted the first meal he ate as a married man to be one his new wife had prepared with her own bare hands.

“One of my favourite dinner dishes is my slow roast organic chicken with turmeric, lemon and garlic. It holds a special place in my heart because I cooked it and served it at our wedding – I really wanted, as his wife, to be the one to cook the first meal he ate as my husband,” Miranda revealed in a new interview with Australian beauty website Beauticate.

Miranda’s wedding day chicken was first reported by Vogue in 2017, who explained in their exclusive cover story: “On a cool May morning, just as a cloak of fog began to lift off the western hills of Los Angeles, Miranda Kerr ran downstairs and put a chicken in the oven.”

“If it seems odd that Kerr should be making dinner on her wedding day, consider the surprisingly intimate scale of the nuptials themselves: a cosy affair at home with 45 or so friends and family for one of the world’s most recognisable models and her fiancé, Evan Spiegel, whose company, Snapchat, boasts close to 200 million daily users.”

“But there was no need to pity this busy bride, whose apron would soon be traded for Dior Haute Couture. “Flynn is very independent and helpful. When I had Hart, my second son, it felt quite manageable having Flynn and a little one, whereas since having my third son, Myles, there are now three kids and two were under two, so it’s obviously been more intense. Luckily Myles is such a calm, sweet baby, and his brothers absolutely dote on him.

“Still, these days I’m breastfeeding Myles, Hart is tugging at me wanting me to play with him and Flynn is asking me to schedule play dates and after school activities… then I also have Teddy, our dog, begging me for attention!”

Miranda also revealed that Flynn is taking to his role as older brother like a duck to water.

“Flynn absolutely adores his two younger brothers, and he is such a big help,” she said.

“He loves playing with them and keeping them entertained, and really enjoys reading to them before bed – it’s very sweet. It’s a joy to watch their bond develop and I can’t wait to see them all grow up together. We’re very content with three happy, healthy boys (although who knows what the future holds!)”.

Despite the fact that she had already been married and had a child with her ex, Miranda and Evan decided not to have sex before they tied the knot.

Before the pair were married, Miranda was asked if she would try to have another baby, telling the UK Times: “Not yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional,” later adding, “We can’t … I mean we’re just … waiting.”

But in the years since, we’ve come to understand a few more unique details we missed between the happy tears and sausage rolls as people across the world tuned into the spectacle from their bunting-clad homes.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland put on a special exhibition in 2019 named A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, where Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding outfits were put on display for all to see.

The exhibition also featured an audio guide narrated by Their Royal Highnesses themselves.

Meghan is heard saying on the recording, “A great level of detail went into the planning of our wedding day. We knew how large the scale of the event would be, so in making choices that were really personal and meaningful, it could make the whole experience feel intimate.”

Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski’s romance reads like something out of a fairytale.

The pair met back in 2015 on the third season of The Bachelor – Snez was actually the first woman to step out of the limo and meet her Bachie – and now the couple have two children together, Willow and Charlie, as well as teenager Eve, from Snez’s previous relationship.

The personal trainer married his stunning bride in December 2018 in a lavish Byron Bay ceremony, with Snez turning heads in a custom lace gown by Australian designer Pallas Couture.

And now Snez has shared some previously unseen candid snaps of her gorgeous wedding dress, rumoured to cost around $10,000.

“Just found these on my phone. My last dress fitting before our big day, I couldn’t help myself had to post them,” Snez wrote on Instagram this week.

The photos appear to be taken inside a Pallas Couture boutique and show the incredible, intricate detailing on the back of the dress, as well as its long tulle train.

Love was in the air over the Easter weekend, with The Wiggles’ Lachlan Gillespie announcing his engagement to ballet dancer girlfriend Dana Stephenson.

“On Thursday night, Dana asked me to marry her at home under a fairy light sky and a very excited little boy in a beautiful bow tie,” Lachy wrote on Instagram on Monday April 13th.

Alongside the caption was a photo of himself, Dana and her four-year-old son Jasper in a bedroom decorated with fairy lights.

Lachlan was previously married to his Wiggles bandmate, Emma Watkins. Despite the former couple divorcing in August 2018, it appears there is no bad blood between the pair and Emma showed her support for the engagement by commenting on the post with three hearts.

The Wiggles’ official Instagram account also congratulated the couple, writing: “We could all do with some happy news at the moment and it doesn’t get much happier than this… Congratulations to Lachy who just got engaged! Lachy and Dana’s romance was first confirmed in August 2019, after they fell for one another on the set of a Wiggles’ DVD special.

“He’s just amazing and I just love him so much,” Dana gushed to The Daily Telegraph at the time.

“Lachy and I just had a really beautiful connection straight away. It was between us, but after the fact quite a few people noticed,” she said.

When Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell revealed that they had hastily tied the knot at Australia Zoo, it seemed like the good news story everyone was hoping for.

But just hours after saying “I do”, the couple have faced extreme backlash, as the celebration took place mere hours before Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s new restrictions on weddings came into place, which states no more five people can attend the celebration, in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Twitter was flooded with posts labelling the 21-year-old wildlife warrior as selfish and irresponsible for holding her wedding amid a global pandemic, where social distancing regulations are already being enforced.

“Bindi Irwin is so f—in selfish for having that wedding. Yes the rules don’t come into play until midnight, but that doesn’t mean the virus can’t spread before that. People are dying. Your wedding can wait. Face with rolling eyes,” one person tweeted.

Others referenced the photos and video aerial footage of bride Bindi hiding from the paparazzi, surrounded by people holding umbrellas, as it goes against social distancing guidelines.

However, others have leapt to Bindi and Chandler’s defence, seeing as the couple admitted that they made the “difficult decision” to not have guests at the nuptials.

“Y’all coming for Bindi Irwin who had NO guests at her wedding and got married on site at the zoo where she lives(!) are so nasty. CAN’T WE JUST HAVE ONE NICE THING,” one fan wrote.

“If any of you speak ill of Bindi Irwin for having her wedding despite the pandemic it’s ON SITE. They didn’t have any guests and it was at the zoo where they basically live CAN YOU LET PEOPLE HAVE ONE HAPPY MOMENT,” said another.

Weddings in Australia are now restricted to no more than five people in attendance.

This means that the couple, celebrant and two witnesses are the only ones permitted to be at the celebration and the four-square-metre rule and social distancing practices must be adhered to.

Fans beg Bindi Irwin not to change her iconic surname as she prepares to wed fiancé Chandler Powell

Bindi Irwin’s fans have begged the newly engaged Aussie star to keep her iconic surname when she marries her fiancé Chandler Powell later this year.

The 21-year-old daughter of Steve Irwin is set to walk down the aisle in 2020, and has been keeping her fans updated as she and Chandler, along with brother Robert and mother Terri, prepare for the couple’s big day.

And she’s asked her 3.3 million Instagram followers for advice as she gets ready to wed her partner of eight years.

Taking to Instagram this week, Bindi shared a photo of herself, Chandler and Robert picking out wedding flowers.

“Robert and Chandler kindly helped me choose the flowers for my bridal bouquet,” Bindi captioned the photo.

She added: “They’ve been very supportive with all things wedding planning. If you have wedding advice, please comment below. I always love and appreciate ideas.”

Bindi’s followers jumped at the chance to offer their advice, with the post attracting more than 3000 comments.

Many offered suggestions as to how Bindi could honour her late father Steve’s memory on her special day.

“Honestly I’d cry if you wrapped your bridal bouquet with a khaki ribbon that had your Dad’s name stitched into it. So it’s like his shirt tag,” one follower commented.

Another suggested: “In your flowers in the centre get your dad’s favourite flower placed there or a piece of fabric from a shirt of his sewn into your wedding dress in a hidden way. It helps a lot of people feel that the missing loved one is standing with them.”

A third person said: “It would be a nice touch to add a small photo of your dad or anyone else that is close to your heart on the bouquet. I have seen that done and thought about doing that at my own wedding.”

But some fans were also worried that Bindi would be taking Chandler’s last name, Powell, and saying goodbye to her Irwin roots.

“Please don’t change your last name,” one fan wrote, with the comment attracting dozens of likes.

Yet others disagreed. “Changing your name honours your husband. It doesn’t dishonour your family. Either way, she is always an Irwin!” one of Bindi’s followers wrote in response.

Many of her followers seemed to assume that Bindi would changing her last name, with one fan commenting: “Don’t forget to change your drivers license, any debt/credit cards, voter registration bills, I forgot to do all that about a month after I got married.”

Bindi is yet to officially reveal whether or not she will hold onto her surname after she is marred.

Bindi and Chandler met in 2013, when the champion wakeboarder from central Florida turned up for a tour of Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, which was guided personally by a then-15-year-old Bindi.

The pair fell in love at first sight, and after a long-distance relationship, Chandler moved in with the Irwins at Australia Zoo.

After six years of dating, the couple became engaged last July.

Congratulations are in order for former Home and Away stars Jessica Grace Smith and Benedict Wall who are officially husband and wife after marrying in an intimate New Zealand ceremony last month.

The couple, who have been together since 2010, took to Instagram this week to announce the news and share stunning photos from their big day.

Jessica, who played Casey Braxton’s (Lincoln Younes) girlfriend Denny Miller on the long-running soap from 2014 to 2015, posted a beautiful snap of the newlyweds kissing, under a tree.

The actress simply captioned the shot: “08.02.20”.

Over on his own Instagram account, Benedict – known for playing Alf Stewart’s grandson Duncan in 2016 – shared a photo of himself holding the hand of his new bride.

“Here we go… “Don’t go back to sleep,” he wrote.

In an interview with New Zealand’s Woman’s Day last year, Jessica said she told her mum that he was “The One” within months – despite Benedict taking eight years to propose.

Benedict also recalled the moment he proposed to Jess, admitting it was “hard to get the words out.”

“I was really nervous. We woke up at 6am and it was a perfect day. I asked Jess if she would like to go for a quick swim before we jumped back in the car to drive back to Sydney.”

Benedict took her to an empty beach and, when Jess turned around, she saw him down on one knee.

How a bushfire-ravaged community rallied together to save this couple’s wedding day

When Stephanie and Chris Forde became engaged, there was no question where they would hold the wedding – at Stephanie’s parents’ property in Tambo Upper, in East Gippsland, Victoria.

And as the couple live in the UK and Chris’ family had never been to Australia, what better time than summer?

The date was set for January 4, 2020.

Then everything changed. Travelling to Tambo Upper to celebrate New Year’s Eve, Stephanie and Chris were stopped by blockades. Stephanie’s parents had already evacuated their animals and were preparing to leave themselves.

“Then on New Year’s Day we saw the dire weather warning for our wedding day,” recalls Stephanie.

“It was 40 degrees and high winds. There was no way it would be safe for our guests, and if we all got stuck, it would be catastrophic.”

That’s when the kindness of the community took over.

First, Jonathan and Judy Wood offered up their waterfront property in nearby Paynesville.

When the flower farm they were using burnt down, House of Blooms at Dahlsens in Bairnsdale offered a free bouquet and buttonhole.

The day before the nuptials their wedding planner, Adele Charlwood, and partner Lucas built a bar from scratch after the one they’d ordered couldn’t get through roadblocks.

And that was despite Adele’s own property being on an ember warning.

Their caterer called in a panic.

“She said, ‘I have to stay and defend my property. I’ve made all your food but you’re going to have to get it and warm it up yourselves,'” says Stephanie.

Locals and friends stepped in to help.

Finally, the local Rotary Club set up a marquee and tables.

“And the wedding was the best day of our lives,” Stephanie says.

“It wasn’t just our 20 guests at that wedding; it felt like the whole community was involved. And Chris’ family have been blown away by the Australian spirit – how people who may not know each other just band together to overcome a terrible situation.”

Inside Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant’s stunning Sydney wedding venue

For the first ever Married At First Sight official wedding, you’d expect no expenses to be spared.

And it seems that Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant went all out for their special day, hosting their ceremony and reception at Sydney’s Beta Bar and Alpha Restaurant.

While we’ll get to see inside the venue in the special event episode of A Current Affair on Tuesday night, here’s a closer look at the lavish venue steeped in history.

Built in 1877 as a Presbyterian church hall and later transformed into the Australian Worker’s Union, the Beta Bar’s ceremony space is a heritage listed site steeped in history.

It’s also the first space where the Australian national anthem was publicly performed, talk about true blue!

With its exposed brick and elegant floral arrangements, it certainly looks like something out of a fairytale on the official Instagram page.

Seeing as both Cam and Jules hail from the NSW capital, the wedding was bound to be held in Sydney.

Despite keeping things local, the MAFS newlyweds previously confessed to E! News that if money were no issue and they could marry anywhere in the world, it would be “somewhere tropical.”

“I’d love to get everyone on a plane and share some love on a big island,” Cam added. “Pina coladas in everyone’s hands and having a really good time.”

Sounds like it’ll be quite the party regardless!

The venue can hold up to 200 people and with their multitude of celebrity friends, you can bet Cam and Jules will be celebrating their love surrounded by plenty of friends and family members.

Guests at the reality TV wedding of the year include former MAFS stars Nic Jovanovic, Cyrell Paule and Heidi Latcham, the latter of whom is one of Jules’ bridesmaids plus The Block‘s Hayden and Sara Vale.

Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis have whipped fans into a frenzy with a social media post hinting that the fitness power couple have secretly tied the knot.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night, 49-year-old Michelle uploaded a photo of herself in what appeared to be a wedding dress, standing next to a suited-up Steve,43.

And the former Biggest Loser trainers weren’t giving too much away in the caption, with Michelle cryptically captioning the shot: ” Inevitable…”

Many of Michelle’s 286,000 followers posted congratulatory messages in the comments sections, with one fan asking directly: “Are you guys getting married? ”

The pair have never spoken publicly about an engagement but do share three-year-old son Axel as well as three older children (Brianna, Ella and Jack) from Steve’s previous relationship.

“We pick up on each other’s vibes on what’s happening at any given moment so sometimes he’ll just go and do a workout or I’ll be like, ‘You know what, go do your thing,'” Michelle says.

“I think in any relationship you have to be able to read each other and give the other person that space that they might need and if you’re the one kind of giving them the space, you kind of know that eventually one way or another that it’ll come back to you. So it’s that swings and roundabouts scenario.”

The average Australian woman spends $5,260 on her wedding dress, according to Wedded Wonderland, but Sydney bride Tenille Taylor bucked the trend with her own nuptials just a few months ago, when she walked down the aisle in a $100 white wedding dress.

The 24-year-old was op-shopping with friends one weekend when she stumbled upon the dress of her dreams.

“We said ‘Let’s go and search for some funky things at all of the local op shops’, so we were going through all of the clothes and my friend saw that they had a wedding dress section,” Tenille told Now To Love.

“We were going through them and at first I didn’t see any that were my size, but then my friend found a dress and said ‘This is actually really beautiful’,” she explained.

And as luck would have it, the dress fit perfectly.

As soon as she tried the dress on, Tenille knew it was the one.

“I said ‘This is exactly what I wanted’. I tried it on and everyone in the store stopped and everyone said ‘You look so beautiful’,” she said.

“I was really emotional and I realised this was the dress that I want.”

The dress was originally priced at $200, but the Lifeline op shop in Narellan had a half price sale on that day, so the dress only cost Tenille $100.

The straps required alteration and costs $40, bringing the total to $140.

Tenille got married to her husband in Thailand in front of all of her family and friends, including their 15 groomsmen, bridesmaids, page boys and flower girls.

The bride says her guests were shocked to find out her dress was so cheap.

“The whole wedding was like ‘I can’t believe that’s $100!’ because it was just crazy,” she said.

“It was amazing. Everyone was complimenting me all day. Everyone was like ‘It’s so beautiful’,” she said.

“It fit me so well and the detail was just amazing.”

Her lyrics often feature lines of heartbreak and lost love, but it appears that Australian singer Jessica Mauboy may have to look elsewhere for inspiration as her own romance has reached its crescendo, with boyfriend Themeli Magripilis finally popping the question in Greece!

A source close to the couple reveals the soccer player whisked the songbird off to his native homeland of Kalymnos, a remote island in Greece, where after getting the nod of approval from family, he finally popped the question.

It’s believed he proposed while they lounged under the sun alone on the island’s rugged Palionisos Beach.

Taking to Instagram, Themeli proudly photographed his new fiancee showcasing a huge sparkler on her wedding finger. “My paradise!” he captioned.

Their close friends were quick to flood the post with their well-wishes. “Congratulations to you both. Well done Themeli. So happy for you,” one friend wrote.

Jess is reportedly over the moon with the engagement, with the source revealing she had hoped Greece would be the location “where her great love would finally pop the question”.

It’s official – singer Justin Bieber and his stunning model partner Hailey Bieber have finally tied the knot.

While the couple were officially married in a New York City courthouse last year, they said “I do” for the second time around during a huge three-day wedding in South Carolina.

The star-studded nuptials were attended by A-listers including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and their mother Kris Jenner and her partner Corey Gamble, model Joan Smalls, Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend Camila Morrone and Hailey’s cousin Ireland Baldwin, whose father is Alec Baldwin.

While we don’t yet know the designer of Hailey’s sexy white halter-neck wedding dress, it reminds us a lot of the gorgeous Stella McCartney number Meghan Markle wore to her wedding reception, after she married Prince Harry in May 2018.

With a guest list like the one at this wedding, Justin and Hailey of course didn’t want their friends and family to leave empty-handed.

The goodie bags they organised for their guests are seriously next-level, with Kris Jenner taking to her Instagram account to share several snaps of all the generous gifts inside.

As well as personalised wedding clothing merch, with “The Biebers” at the date and location of the wedding embroidered on comfy tracksuit-style clothing, along with threads from Justin’s own streetwear label Drew House, guests were given a copy of the Notebook and some praline treats.

While we’re still waiting for more details to emerge about the wedding, sources have told TMZ that Justin gave a spontaneous musical performance during the reception.

Hailey recently opened up about her relationship, revealing the couple have experienced some “hard” moments.

“Look, marriage is always going to be hard and I think good relationships are the relationships that you put the work into,” she told Vogue Australia.

“I had never lived with someone before. I never had to cohabit with somebody in that way, so I was learning how to share space with someone for the first time. We were trying to bend in each other’s direction and learn what was comfortable.”

Congratulations are in order for My Kitchen Rules stars Ash Kelliah and Stacey Allen who have tied the knot!

The couple, who competed in the 2019 season of the Channel Seven reality TV show, exchanged vows in a stunning Byron Bay ceremony.

Both Ash and Stacey took to Instagram to share gorgeous snaps of their special day with their combined 190k followers

“WIFEY FOR LIFEY!!! @staceykeillah ”,” an enthusiastic Ash captioned one wedding photo.

Stacey, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child, also gushed over her new husband.

“MR & MRS KEILLAH 18.09.19 The happiest day of my life so far,” Stacey, who has already updated her last name in her Instagram handle, penned.

In a caption accompanying another image, Stacey also made reference to their unborn baby, who is due in March.

Ash and Stacey met six years ago when they slid into each other’s Instagram DMs but were friends for five years before anything romantic transpired.

The couple made it official last year when Ash proposed to Stacey at Rae’s on Wategos Penthouse Suite in Byron Bay, where the couple had one of their first dates.

Speaking of that date, Ash told Wild Goat Events, “Stacey surprised me with a fancy little seafood lunch in their intimate, open-air restaurant, overlooking the beach. From then we both absolutely fell in love with the place, so I knew that had to be the spot!”

Last month, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, with Stacey writing on Instagram: “SURPRISE!!!! Ash and I are SO excited to finally announce that we’re expecting a little bubba. As of next March we’ll be a family of 3.”

Ellie Goulding reveals never-before-seen photo of her SEVEN stunning bridesmaids

Pop singer Ellie Goulding’s wedding officially wrapped up weeks ago, but we’ll never get tired of seeing brand new images emerge from the star-studded nuptials.

The Love Me Like You Do hitmaker married her partner Caspar Jopling in a glorious wedding at York Minster last month, which was attended by A-listers including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller and royal pals Princess Eugenie and her mother Sara Ferguson.

The bride famously wore FIVE wedding dresses on her big day, but it was French fashion house Chloé that designed the beautiful long-sleeved, high-neck custom gown Ellie wore when walking down the aisle to say “I do”.

And now a brand new photo has emerged of the gorgeous matching dresses Ellie’s seven bridesmaids wore as they supported their friend on her special day.

The photo was shared by one of Ellie’s bridesmaids, Cassandra Grey, who is the president of Sony Music.

Ellie has previously revealed that although it appears as though her bridesmaids also wore white, their dresses are actually a pale blue colour.

“My bridesmaids will also be wearing Chloé – bespoke pale blue dresses in silk cadi, embroidered with a tone-on-tone organza braid,” she told British Vogue.

The pretty long-sleeved dresses mirrored Ellie’s dress.

Ellie also revealed to the magazine that one of her bridesmaids, makeup artist Lucy Weaving, did her makeup on the day.

“The key is to look and feel like myself on the day. My best friend, bridesmaid and long standing makeup artist Lucy Wearing will be creating soft, neutral beauty beginning with clean, fresh skin using Capture Dreamskin by Dior,” Ellie told British Vogue.

“I don’t want anything too heavy for the ceremony, but the focus will be on the eyes. We will build the makeup as we go throughout the evening.”

Ellie famously wore four other dresses on her wedding day – designer frocks from high end labels Stella McCartney, Ralph and Russo and French fashion house Balmain.

She also wore a gorgeous black dress later in the evening.

The beautiful black strapless creation was deigned by Carolina Herrera, and is nothing short of heavenly.

Ellie Goulding and Katy Perry have been friends for years, with the fellow pop stars always supporting each other no matter what is going on in their lives.

So Katy made sure she was front and centre at Ellie’s glorious wedding to her boyfriend Caspar Jopling in England last month, along with her beau Orlando Bloom.

The wedding was certainly not a low-key affair, with the celebrations extending well beyond the formal church ceremony and into the night, with Ellie changing into FIVE different dresses over the course of the day.

The nuptials were attended by A-list guests including Princess Eugenie and her mother Sarah Ferguson, as well as actress Sienna Miller, so we have no doubt that the wedding reception was an absolute hoot!

And now Katy has shared a brand new snap of what the inside of the big party looked like, posting a sweet black-and-white photo of herself and the blushing bride on Instagram.

“Love looks so good on you Elena Jopling,” Katy wrote alongside the photo, referring to Ellie’s full name Elena and her groom’s last name, Jopling.

Incidentally, this isn’t the first candid photo of the pair that’s appeared on social media.

Back in 2015, Ellie posted, then quickly deleted, a cute pic of herself with Katy and fellow pop singer Lorde, but later removed the photo from her social media pages.

Some fans speculated that the close friend of Taylor Swift didn’t want to be caught in the feuding drama between herself and Katy, but Ellie later clarified that wasn’t the case at all.

“No, I deleted that because I looked bad in it,” Ellie said at the Glamour Awards in 2015.

“And I think I was a bit drunk. And I thought it wasn’t a very good example of myself. That’s so funny that, um, that’s even a thing. No, I delete things all the time! I’m very used to things being made up. That’s ridiculous. I’m great friends with Katy, I’m great friends with Taylor. That’s very silly. I just looked terrible in it. I zoomed in on my actual photo, and I was like, ‘no’.”

Ellie Goulding drops brand new photo of her gorgeous wedding reception dress

Singer Ellie Goulding’s glorious English wedding has well and truly wrapped up, but new photos of the numerous stunning wedding dresses the star wore during her nuptials earlier this month are still dropping – and we cannot get enough.

The gorgeous bride wore four wedding dresses over the course of her special day – but we’re only just getting a proper look at the gorgeous second gown she changed into for her reception.

Ellie wore a magnificent outfit from Australian designers Ralph and Russo to her wedding reception, which actually appears to be a silk white skirt and a top made from delicate peal beading.

The Love Me Like You Do singer just shared two detailed photographs of the increidble craftmanship involved in the outfit to her Instagram page, and thanked one half of the design duo behind the label, Tamara Ralph, for creating the custom outfit for her special day.

“Dear @tamararalph I can’t thank you enough for your magnificent beyond words creation,” Ellie wrote on Instagram.

“You are supremely talented and also a beautiful and kind human being. So happy to know you. @tamararalph @ralphandrusso ”.

She then shared these two stunning pics of the gorgeous creation.

When Ellie walked down the aisle to say “I do” to her now husband Caspar Jopling, she wore a beautiful bespoke Chloé bridal gown, which featured a beautiful high neckline and was hand-embroidered.

Later on, Ellie changed into an off-the-shoulder creation by British designer Stella McCartney, followed by a custom dress by French fashion house Balmain, which Ellie told Vogue was “the most fun dress to dance the night away in”.

Ellie and Caspar’s nuptials were held in North Yorkshire, UK on Saturday, August 31, with an A-grade guest list that included Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and Sarah, Duchess of York.

Other celeb guests included Sienna Miller, who looked gorgeous in a brown printed long sleeve gown, while Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom also sent onlookers wild as they attended the star-studded event.

And even Cressida Bonas, who previously dated Prince Harry and is newly engaged to her long-time partner, was in attendance.

Bindi Irwin asks her fans for their best wedding planning tips ahead of her big day

It’s set to be Australia’s own royal wedding, but we still don’t know too many details about Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s upcoming nuptials.

The 21 year-old wildlife warrior may be young, but she already knows that planning a wedding is a big deal. So who better to ask for advice than your 2.6 million Instagram followers?

“Wedding planning is in full swing for us and it has been an amazing whirlwind,” Bindi captioned a photo of herself and Chandler from the day of their engagement, cuddling one of Australia Zoo’s adorable koalas.

She continued: “We’re looking forward to celebrating our wedding day next year at Australia Zoo Of course the day will be filled with family, friends and lots of gorgeous animals (koala cuddles are a must)! Do you have wonderful wedding planning advice? I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Hugs from us both xx”.

Family first

It will be a bittersweet day for the Irwin family, as Bindi’s beloved dad Steve won’t be there to celebrate.

One of Bindi’s followers sweetly drew from their own experiences saying: “We put one chair on the front row to symbolise the Father who had died. In His chair we placed a candle that had his picture on it. We kept the candle burning through the whole ceremony and dance. His Wife sat next to that chair and candle and watched their Son give their daughter away.”

On a happier note, a few of her followers encouraged her to use younger brother Robert as the day’s official shutterbug with one suggesting: “Don’t try to save money on the photographer, you get what you pay for…. you could always ask Robert to do it!”

Keeping things practical

Other followers (judging by the sound of it) had gone through the mammoth task that is wedding planning and offered some very practical tips to the bride-to-be.

“Get someone to save you a plate of food because you won’t have time to eat, but you’ll be starving at the end of the day!” one exclaimed.

“On the invitation, ask guests to request a favourite song. They’ll get a real buzz when it comes on and they can hit the dancefloor!” suggested another.

One also put forward the idea: “Instead of people bringing gifts for you both, maybe have them make some donations to wildlife.”

From setting aside food to dance floor tunes, the practical wedding advice is actually good to consider!

The out of the box

Other ideas were a little left of field.

“Enjoy each other! If that means eloping before the big day to take time to do so, so be it,” one of Bindi’s fans suggested.

Another one went rogue when they said, “Pop some Go Pros on some of the animals (safely obviously) and film their perspective of the day.” Umm..ok.

We doubt the animals will be fitted with go-pros for Bindi and Chandler’s special day.

The sweet and sentimental

Of course, the majority of advice Bindi received was to enjoy the day and celebrate spending the rest of her life with her soulmate.

“My advice is to let it be about the two of YOU! No one else. Play lots of great music and enjoy the night. I’m wearing sneakers to mine to be comfortable enough to dance in,” one sweetly wrote.

“No planning advice as such, rather a little whisper of wisdom. Every so often through the day, take a step back with your husband and take a minute to take it all in. Look at your family and friends faces, breathe deeply and take in the smell, close your eyes and listen to the laughter and absorb it. It goes so quick, photographs are amazing memories but smells, hearing and the looks of your loved ones will absolutely stay in your mind forever. With best wishes to you both,” penned another.
