Debra Lawrence originally signed onto Home And Away for the “financial security,” but she found so much more with her soulmate Dennis Coard.

Not long after her Summer Bay debut as Pippa Ross, the producers were on the hunt for a love interest for her character. After an incredible chemistry read, Dennis was cast as Michael Ross.

“I was just really drawn to him,” Debra recalled with TV WEEK. “They booked him. Apparently, the chemistry read was so strong.”

The timing couldn’t be more perfect for Debra who told Woman’s Day in 2011 that her “ovaries were yelling, ‘Hello!’.”

After six weeks of “being rude” to her new co-star, Debra could no longer deny the attraction. Flash forward eighteen months to February 29, 1992, Debra and Dennis said ‘I do’ in Avalon. But why get married on a leap day?

“It happened to be a Saturday between Friday studio and Monday rehearsal for Home and Away,’ Debra revealed in a comment on Instagram.

In the same year, the newlyweds welcomed their first child together, a girl named Grace Coard. A few years down the track in 1999, they were blessed with their second and final child, William.

In 2024, the couple celebrated 32 years together – technically only their eighth wedding anniversary. In celebration of the momentous day, Debra revealed their secret to a long, happy marriage.

“We appreciate and respect that we are individuals; we support each others wins and losses; we have shared the grief of the loss of parents, siblings, dear friends and the wee bubbas that were not meant to be,” she wrote.

“We have raised two extraordinary kids whom we love beyond measure. We are deeply grateful for our home and the beauty of the quiet bush that surrounds us. We are partners in every sense of the word – sometimes extremely disputatious, but all is always forgiven. (it helps hugely that we also still fancy the pants off each other – sorry kids ) ”

“So grateful #denniscoard agreed to have kids with me,” she wrote.

Happy Anniversary dearest Dennis. Much love and heartfelt thanks for agreeing to be the father of our two beautiful children,” she wrote.

Flashback to Debra and Dennis’ Home And Away days as Pippa and Michael respectively.

Debra left the soap in 1998, but in a 2023 interview with TV Week she shared: “Home And Away gave me my life… And I sing that from the rooftops to anybody who wants to listen.”

“To the wondrous Dennis Coard, Happy 7th Leap Anniversary ( 28 years in UTC time – 10,227 days) You are an extraordinary human being and I’m so very, very glad I know you,” Debra wrote for their wedding anniversary.

Days where Looch, as she affectionately calls him, would sleep all day long and leave his mum with all the time in the world to continue with her beauty routine.

“I had a lot of time to blow dry my hair and do my skincare. But now that he’s entering toddler stage – I call it terror stage,” she laughs, “there’s no time for that.”

Having just turned one, Lucius is well into his toddler stage, needing “so much attention” and “constant stimulation” from everyone around him. “We’re a lot more hands-on these days,” Martha tells Now To Love.

Finding time for self-care, let alone skincare, is not a luxury the 35-year-old mum finds herself with, even with the support of her friends, family and her fiance Michael Brunelli.

“You’ve got five minutes and in those five minutes, you probably have a lot of other things that you want to do,” she says. “Maybe drink a hot coffee, have a hot piece of toast… but with skincare, you have to just slap it on and be done.”

For this reason, Martha has partnered with Olay to help find the perfect postpartum skincare routine, with enough room for her holy grails and nothing else.

“I love the sculpting cream because it’s like a 15-step skincare in one. It does for your skin what an essence, serum, moisturiser and oil would do in one step,” she shares.

But, with anything, everyone’s experience may look a little different. “Some days you might get to do a 10-step skincare routine, and some days you might not even brush your teeth and that’s okay,” she says.

However, Martha’s best tip for mums struggling with skincare is to find what they like – and more importantly, what’s good – and just stick with it.

“Gone are the days where you’re like, ‘I’ll try this, I’ll see how this goes’. You just need something reliable. You need something that’s not going to irritate your skin.”

“Also, your hormones are not the same,” she laughs. “So you might be more sensitive than you usually are… I like to use a barrier cream, a really thick one. Always a sunscreen, always a retinol and a really gentle cleanser. They were the hero products that I always used.”

Tthe world was shocked to hear the two entertainers were having children so soon after meeting, but years decades later, Carys and Dylan are all grown up. So, where are they?

The family first began when Catherine and Michael were introduced to each other by mutual friends while promoting their films – A Perfect Murder and The Mask of Zorro respectively – at the Deauville Film Festival.

Immediately, Michael knew he was going to be the father of her children.

“I looked at her, and I said, ‘Catherine, I’m going to be the father of your children’,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019.

“The first time I met her! You think that went over big?”.

The pair tied the knot in a luxurious wedding ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on November 18, 2000. Catherine looked like the picture of elegance in her Christian Lacroix gown with a low-cut bodice and sleeveless silhouette.

Catherine and Michael’s timeless ceremony, which reportedly cost $2.6 million, will forever be pinned in someone’s Pinterest board for wedding inspiration.

But, just months before their wedding on August 8, 2000, Catherine gave birth to their first child, a son named Dylan Michael Douglas.

Three years later on April 20, 2003, the stars welcomed their daughter Carys who has grown to become the spitting image of her mother.

While dating reality television shows rarely produce successful romantic connections, Irena and Locky defied all odds. Their connection is undeniable!

But their relationship hasn’t been without its complications. Shortly after filming The Bachelor wrapped, the pair suffered their first of two miscarriages.

“During our first few months together I, unfortunately, suffered a miscarriage,” Irena revealed to our sister site Who Magazine. “But Locky was my absolute rock and having his support made me love him even more.”

Becoming a mother has always been a goal for Irena and Locky was “a little clucky” in late 2021, confessed Irena on Instagram.

In March 2023, the pair said ‘I do’ in a secret Melbourne-based ceremony surrounded by their friends and family.

“Surprise ,” Irena began on Instagram.

“We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to start our forever. Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude as we look back on the most magical night of our lives.

“You all thought you were coming for an engagement party, but we had a little something extra up our sleeves! ”

A few months later, the pair suffered a second miscarriage around June 2023. After her announcement to Instagram, she followed with a thank you message to the fans that shared their personal stories.

“Reading them made me feel less alone as I hope my story may make someone out there also feel less alone,” she wrote.

But on September 20, 2023, the couple shared a video announcing “the biggest surprise of [their] lives” – a little baby who they welcomed into the world on February 23, 2024.

“Ava Aleksandra Gilbert,” they shared on Instagram.

With the joyous couple now a family, it is only right we celebrate by collecting the cutest moment of Irena Srbrinovska and Locky Gilbert with their baby girl.

In mid-April, fans received their first look at newest member of the Gilbert-Srbinovska clan. In the Instagram caption, Irena titled it, “Life with Ava.”

“We’ve been soaking up every minute with Ava and loving life with our baby girl. I haven’t known a love like this and I am so blessed. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night (if she hasn’t woken me already) just to check that she is real and she is mine ,” she wrote.

“So lucky to have had my mum over for a month followed by my brother and sister in law for the last 2 weeks. Seeing them with Ava just melted my heart. Can’t wait for my dad and bestie to meet Ava.”

In 2016, almost immediately after finishing his season of I’m A Celebrity, Brendan joined Fox FM to host Fifi, Dave, Fev & Byron. The show is still currently on air and has since been renamed Fifi, Fev & Nick.

Season 3, 2017

Australian singer, songwriter, actress, and author Casey Donovan is best known for winning season two of Australian Idol in 2004.

Australian comedian Fiona O’Loughlin won season four of I’m A Celebrity in 2018, defeating Shannon Noll for the title.

In 2019 Richard made his Australian stage debut in Jack and Beanstalk at the State Theatre in Sydney.

Richard also appeared as a contributing panellist on Studio Ten in previous years.

Miguel Maestre

Season 6, 2020

Beloved celebrity chef Miguel Maestre won I’m A Celebrity in 2020, and is no stranger to television.

The Spanish-born chef, restaurateur and author has presented multiple television programmes and is most well-known for his role as the cooking expert on The Living Room.

In 2024, the 44-year-old became the host of Ready Steady Cook Australia.

Abbie Chatfield

Season 7, 2021

After getting her start on the 2019 season of The Bachelor where she was runner-up, Abbie Chatfield went on to forge a career in the media space.

After retiring in 1994, Peter’s focus shifted to his personal life and his growing family, but his connection to Collingwood Football Club has remained strong thanks to his two sons.

30 years after retiring from football, the 62-year-old AFL great is tackling a different kind of challenge: appearing in the 2024 season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

While watching Peter onscreen, fans may be wondering about his life away from sport, and all about his family. Here, we unpack everything to know about the Daicos family.

Peter Daicos is married to his wife Colleen, and it’s believed the couple have been together since the early 1990s. However, there is limited information about the exact timeline and specific dates in regards to their relationship.

Colleen spoke to our sister site New Idea about Peter being on I’m A Celebrity, saying “It’s been so strange not to be able to speak to him.”

“I think the longest Peter and I have been apart before this is six days,” she added.

Peter and Colleen have welcomed three children together, one daughter and two sons.

Josh Daicos, 25, and Nick Daicos, 21, have followed in their father’s footsteps and both play for Collingwood in the AFL.

Josh was selected for the team in the 2016 draft, while Nick was selected in the 2021 draft. The former has appeared in over 100 games for the club, while the latter recently notched up 50 games himself.

The Daicos brothers have continued the family Collingwood legacy, taking home the 2023 AFL Premiership.

Peter spoke to SEN about how he fostered his sons’ AFL skills, saying: “One of the things that I continually did was I was involved in my kids’ sport, which I think is – whether as a coach or just turning up – is really important.”

“I’m stating the obvious, but I think taking them to the football … I even used to take both boys into the commentary box when I was involved in commentary and media, I’d always have them there and we’d go to games, and they didn’t necessarily have to be Collingwood games. I’d take them to a game, and they’d get all excited. We’d go home and kick a ball for an hour or so in the yard or in the living room.”

Peter Daicos and wife Colleen also share one daughter named Madison who is the couple’s eldest child.

The 32-year-old was old enough to attend some of her father’s AFL games before he retired in 1994, and Peter has reflected on one of his most cherished memories with his daughter, which was when Maddie was present at his final game for Collingwood.

“I got the opportunity to run a lap with my daughter at the MCG. I asked if I could do it and the AFL said no. I said to my wife, ‘Bugger it, just hand her over to me,’ and as I got halfway around, she handed Maddie over. And there’s a shot of me running around with Maddie and she looks like Superman with 35 on the back,” Peter said on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Speaking to New Idea, Maddie said “We’ve all really missed him while he’s been away, but watching him on TV makes us feel really connected to him.”

The couple enjoyed life as a family of three for a couple of years before the Kora Organics founder gave birth to her first son with Evan on March 7, 2018, who they named Hart.

They wasted no time with baby number three because ten months later, she was pregnant with Myles, who arrived in 2019.

During a chat with E News, Miranda didn’t hide the struggle of two children under two.

“It’s definitely a juggling act,” she said. “When most people text me, they’re like ‘How are you?’ I send them the juggling emoji because that’s how I feel, especially with my two youngest ones, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old, and I’m still breastfeeding my 1-year-old.”

Even though being a mum is hard work, the former Victoria’s Secret angel couldn’t be more smitten living the life she always dreamed of, especially being a mother of boys.

“I love kids, and I feel so blessed to have three healthy ones.

“I love being a mother of three boys,” she told People.

But when asked if she would have more children, she wasn’t so sure, “But I don’t know. I’m definitely loving where we’re at right now with the three of them. And I’m not sure if we will or won’t. I more so know that my husband definitely, probably, wants more, but I’m open.”

In September of 2023, Miranda took to Snapchat to announce a new addition was joining the clan. 

“So excited to announce baby number 4,” she wrote. “And it’s a boy.”

As of late-February, three became four with little Pierre Kerr Spiegel.

Despite Miranda relocating overseas, the supermodel returns home to Australia as often as possible as her three boys love running a muck on the farm and even hiding in the mud.

“My favourite things are just being on the farm with my family, watching the boys run around. I remember Evan was so excited about this play set that he’d organised to install at [her parents] house for the kids, a swing set and everything, and a slide and all of this,” she revealed in an interview with Vogue Magazine.

“He thought, ‘oh wow, the kids are going to love it.’ But then all they want to do is run around the farm, hide in the mud. They were literally jumping in the muddy puddles right next to the play set. And Evan was like, ‘what was I thinking?’.”

On February 28, Miranda announced the newest addition to her family arrived via Instagram. We cannot wait to meet little Pierre.

“We are overjoyed by the arrival of our little ray of sunshine, Pierre Kerr Spiegel. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our fourth son into our family,” she wrote.

Miranda shared this gorgeous video of her lying on the couch eating. Many fans were quick to point out that she looks gorgeous. One wrote, “I did not look like this in my third trimester ”.

The soon-to-be mum of four took to Snapchat to share the exciting news that the Kerr-Spiegel family would be expanding.

Although they’re a relatively private couple, the lovebirds have shared glimpses into their beautiful marriage and family life over the past 13 years.

Emily (37) and Josh (35) dated for five years before Josh got down on one knee and popped the question in May 2017.

Emily announced the news via social media, where she showcased her stunning diamond ring. 

She later spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the engagement, saying: “He did good. [The proposal] was in a forest. We were in nature on a hike kind of doing what we do, it was very, sort of, us. So yeah, it was great, beautiful.”

The lovebirds then officially tied the knot in the Bahamas in December 2018. 

“Thank you to all of our friends and family who made their way to celebrate with us! We are eternally grateful,” Emily wrote on Instagram a day after the pair’s nuptials.

In August 2021, the couple secretly welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Iris.

“Welcome to the world our sweet little Iris,” Emily posted alongside some black and white photos of Iris’ hand as well as some of herself pregnant, “Our hearts are full.”

Excitingly, Emily and Josh have recently announced that they have welcomed baby number two! 

“Rio Rose 3-12-2024 Welcome to the world baby girl. We love you so much ”, the actress wrote.

Most recently, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. “5 years married, 12 together What a beautiful ride it’s been. Can’t wait for all that is to come!!,” Emily shared on Instagram in December 2023.

It seems the pair can’t get enough of each other, as after appearing on screen together in Revenge from 2011 – 2015, Emily and Josh also co-starred together again in Miranda’s Victim in 2023.

“My baby boy, you have completed us. We waited for you, we dreamt of you. Malik, your big brother has been calling your name,” Sarah and Matty wrote in an Instagram post celebrating Lyon’s birth.

As seen in the outpouring of love and candid moments shared on social media, the couple’s family life, including the challenges and joys of parenting two young boys, has been shared with their followers.

Sarah shared this cute photo to Instagram in celebration of Easter Monday. Malik looks so much like his mum!

“Sometimes i truly wonder what he’s thinking,” Sarah wrote.

“Lyon Sainte Fahd, 09.05.23,” Sarah began on Instagram. “My baby boy, you have completed us. We waited for you, we dreamt of you. Malik, your big brother has been calling your name. We will love you unconditionally. We will love you until the end of time. Thank you for blessing us.”

In December 2022, it was announced a new member would be joining the Fahd family in 2023.

“Malik has already started prepping to be a big brother, reciting endless lists of the things he will be playing with his new sibling & writing up the “Bulldogs for Dummies” playbook,” the Instagram post revealed.

The lovebirds, or ‘it couple’ of Australian TV, met in 2015 whilst filming the Stan series No Activity which was a detective comedy, running for two seasons.

Prior to this meet, Patrick was working his way through Australian TV with Offspring and Upper Middle Bogan. As too was Harriet, best recognised for her role in Love Child.

A year later in 2016, Patrick moved to Los Angeles with Harriet joining him in 2017.

“I think you want to be close to the person you’re with,” she told Confidential at the time. “I think it was a natural thing anyway.”

In 2021, Patrick got down on one knee and proposed to his partner while holidaying in Tampa, Florida. Rather than wait months to plan a wedding, the couple waited a mere five days before Harriet walked down the aisle.

“Things to do in Tampa in March. 1. Catch a sunrise, 2. Propose to girlfriend, 3. Get married five days later,” Patrick shared to Instagram at the time.

Their family of two quickly expanded just five months later when they welcomed daughter Joni Jane Brooklyn Brammell, who they had adopted through a US agency.

“International Daughter’s Day feels as good a time as any to introduce our little Joni Jane Brooklyn Brammall,” Harriet said at the time. “Born September 16, 2021, and with us from her first moments thanks to her incredible birth mother.”

She continued to thank her husband, admitting her new daughter “struck gold” with her new dad before concluding: “Mother is a verb and if you do the verb you become the noun.” – Ellen Burstyn on adoption.”

Following two years of parenthood, Harriet shared an emotional speech during the 63^rd TV Week Logie Awards touching on the juggle of career and family.

“We hear so much about mum guilt, but not so much dad guilt,” Harriet said.

“I wondered if I would feel that, because I’m not a natural mother, I’m an adoptive mother. But the feeling is still strong. I know so many mums who are scared to go back to work, but they can, because one day their kids will turn 18 and live a life of their own.

“I wanted anyone who might be at home checking the baby monitor or breastfeeding and wondering whether you can ever leave them, that it’s OK and they’ll be OK.”
